Oxford College of Business wins two Silver Awards at the National Business Excellence Awards 2014
Oxford College of Business was recently recognized and awarded the 1st runner-up among all small business entities in Sri Lanka and runner-up in the educational services category, when they won the two silver awards at the National Business Excellence Awards 2014. The National Business Excellence Awards is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view to recognizing business enterprises, which have demonstrated excellence in business, whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

Among the objectives of the National Business Excellence Awards Program is to recognize and reward those Organizations that have excelled in all round performance. This includes the successful implementation of excellent management practices, demonstrated dynamic leadership, produced sound financial performance, realized outstanding employee and stakeholder satisfaction and shown high concern for the well being of society and the environment. The business excellence evaluation model and criteria for evaluation was further improved this year in order to recognize and enhance the standards for excellence with a view of recognizing businesses which are not only doing well but also doing their business right. The eminent panels of judges comprised Prof. Uditha Liyanage, Dr. Arritha Wikramanayake, Nihal Abeysekera, Dr. Penelope Hood, Ravi Peiris, Mr. Faizal Salieh and Mr. Pravir Samarasinghe.
