Our BA (Hons) Business Administration and Events Management top-up course brings together University of Bedfordshire’s recognised expertise in event studies and business management. It's ideal whether you want to specialise in the business of events, or events in business. On successful completion, you will be awarded a full BA(Hons) degree. During the year, you'll study the main disciplines and operational areas of business, along-side specialist modules on event management functions, processes and values. Planning events from inception through to closure and evaluation, you'll explore different areas of the industry, including concerts and festivals, conferences and meetings, sporting events, weddings and celebrations.
Career options are diverse and include event project manager, contracts manager, event marketing manager and event experience officer. Some graduates use their business and management skills to start their own events businesses. The course aims to develop an individual’s entrepreneurial capabilities. During the course you will have the opportunity to develop and launch business ideas, as well as the opportunity to undertake a work experience.
Students on this course are also able to engage in work related discussions through online forums. This provides the perfect environment to engage with and network with students from a broad range of business subjects. The BA (Hons) Business Administration awarded by University of Bedfordshire offered at Oxford College of Business is the only internal Top up degree exclusively awarded directly from University of Bedfordshire. Once you register on the program you will be a student of University of Bedfordshire where you will receive your student ID, tutor access, access to the University’s learning portal (BREO) and library access. The total number of credits awarded on the BA (Hons) Business Administration degree is 120 credits, where all 120 credits are awarded directly from University of Bedfordshire.

This is a level 6 top-up programme designed for students coming directly in to the final year of a degree programme. Students will be expected to have completed some business-related course at Level 5 or 6.
