You are cordially invited to participate in an esteemed research study focused on occupants’ thermal adaptive behaviour in work-from-home settings. The primary objective of this project is to establish an empirical foundation to enhance our understanding of occupants’ thermal comfort and behaviour within residential contexts.
This comprehensive study spans a duration of 9 months following the initial meeting and sensor installation. Throughout this period, you will receive SMS messages directing you to our concise online comfort questionnaire, which typically takes less than one minute to complete. Additionally, indoor environmental measurements will be automatically recorded during the 9-month period, requiring no active attention from your end.

We are conducting a research project that delves into the potential of emerging mobility concepts, with a specific focus on how Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) can achieve scalability through the implementation of the multi-service MaaS model. In this innovative approach, MaaS is commercialized and bundled alongside non-mobility services.
Selected participants will have the opportunity to engage in a one-on-one discussion, either online or in-person, lasting for 30 to 40 minutes. As a token of appreciation for your valuable time and insights, participants will receive compensation of LKR 5,000 for their participation.

We are conducting a research study aimed at investigating the narrative surrounding women’s role expectations and positions during the COVID-19 lockdown in Sri Lanka, with a specific focus on government communication and related policies. The study will closely monitor three significant moments initiated by the women’s ministry that garnered substantial public attention and backlash from netizens between 2020 and 2022. Our primary objective is to explore the broader social implications of this media coverage, particularly in understanding how women felt, experienced, and coped with these occurrences.
This study aims to delve into the responses of Sri Lankan women regarding the discourse on the roles and expectations of women during the COVID-19 lockdown. It places particular emphasis on official government communication and associated policies, which included a series of advisories outlining behavioural expectations for women during the lockdown.
We seek to gain a comprehensive understanding of Sri Lankan women’s experiences, realities, and practices in coping with gendered roles and expectations in their country. Participants are encouraged to openly and comfortably share their perspectives and experiences, emphasizing that participation in this study is entirely voluntary.
