The program is split into four tiers that will progressively develop your skillset, until you are able to handle the most complex problems. Team activities are an intrinsic part of the MBA, reflecting the need for team skills in modern business and providing a collegial learning environment.
The program has been expanded to allow you to acquire more specific knowledge and skills by choosing your three elective courses from one of the following subject areas: Leadership, Marketing or Finance. The program ends with a major research project designed to showcase your newly learned skills in a real-world setting.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR OCB’S MBA FOUNDATION PATHWAYS
If you’re interested in studying the MBA Foundation Pathway, here’s what we’re looking for:
To be admitted to the MBA Foundation course you must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
And
Written a personal statement telling us why you want to study the MBA Pathway and how you plan to fit it into your other life commitments (one A4 page, size 12pt)
And
English Language Requirement of a minimum of “Credit” pass for English Language at your GCE O/L’s

DIRECT ENTRY TO UCW’S MBA PROGRAM
A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.33 scale (or equivalent) or better and have one of the following:
• Acceptable score on a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) that has been written in the last five years.
• An appropriate Canadian professional designation or equivalent international designation (e.g. CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, CHRP or P.Eng).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or Commerce (BCom) or equivalent.
• A minimum of three (3) years documented professional or management experience.
All applicants for admission to UCW are subject to assessment according to UCW’s program-specific admission procedures and criteria, which may be amended from time to time. Despite the foregoing, all students of OCB must apply and be accepted by UCW to the Master of Business Administration program in accordance with UCW’s admission policies, including meeting the English proficiency requirements outlined on the UCW’s website at UCW Admissions | University Canada West
If you don’t quite meet the eligibility criteria, the MBA Pathway offered by OCB is the most cost effective and efficient way to get there.
In little as three months you can hit the ground running on your MBA journey. This 100% assignment-based course consists of three subjects where you will complete one subject every month. You’ll study three four-week modules with a recommended study time of 75 hours per module, designed to set you up for success in the MBA program. You will learn how to write academically, produce detailed investigative reports and develop persuasive business plans to get your innovative ideas off the ground.
